Getting off the bus it finally hit me i was actually in Venice. When one of the first things you see if a sight like this ^^ it is really breath taking. We started walking down the narrow cobbled streets empty of cars and full of tourists. with every turn there was colorful shops full of masks
Or delicious cakes and cookies of all shapes, sizes, colors and flavors
Or ever MORE and MORE masks.. I'm serious, there are masks every where here.
But they are ll so beautiful i wish i had unlimited money so i could buy them all.
My host dad had to pull the back of my shirt ( literally ) to get me out of some of the shops! They were all so amazing i just couldn't help going in!
And don't even get me started on the Gelato... its heavenly, seriously Italy has the best gelato in the world ( DUH ) but i can have it at any time any where. sometimes more than once a day! like i had it 3 times on Saturday!
There are so many beautiful sights to see and i was in awe the whole time. unfortunetly it was a really cloudy and rainy day so the pictures don't have as much life and color as there really was but it was still so beautiful and COLD... my host parents are just hanging around in there one small jacket and here i am in layers and layers like "F*** this, I'm COLD."
They always laugh at me when I'm cold and its just a normal October day for them, and I'm like " I'm from SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! Not RUSSIA.. I GET COLD"
anyways............ arg i hate getting writers block. before i started writing this when i didn't have my computer near me i had so many ideas of what to say and i knew exactly what to write and now i am sitting here staring at this page drawing a complete blank... I'm sorry. Here i will post all the pictures from Venice and hopefully i will get my train of thought back! Have a look :)
Above ^^ is San Marcos square and it is FULL of Flying Rats Pigeons. but the church and the tower you see above and below are very beautiful!

This picture you see above ^^ is the exact one i printed off Google and i have had on my wall for years. it seemed like a unrealistic dream. Yet the next picture right below is the picture i took.. its mind blowing to see my dreams and hopes actually coming true. i am honestly so thankful for everything.
Lovers bridge ^^ you put your name and the name of your loved one on a lock and lock it to the bridge and it will be there forever! <3 so cute and what a pretty view!
Well Venice was absolutely amazing, i know i lag on posting stuff ( sorry ) but im going to try to work on being more productive ( as my mom and dad keep telling me over skype....) i hope you guys liked the pictures and keep on reading <3
